A rebel counter sniper team is able to locate and neutralize a regime sniper during fighting in Jobar, Damascus.
The Syrian Army sniper gave his position away by not creating a proper fighting position. The light pouring in behind him presented his moving silhouette to the counter sniping team. His muzzle was also too close to the opening which showed his flash as well as kicked up a lot of easily identifiable dust. Whether the sniper was killed, wounded, or missed all together cannot be confirmed, but even if the shot missed, it undoubtedly caused the sniper to cease firing and relocate to a different spot on the battlefield, thereby taking him out of the fight, if at least temporarily.
