Jabhat Fatah al-Sham Inghimasi “shock troops” conduct a full frontal assault against a regime position. These are re-branded al-Qaeda fighters.
After the re-branding of Jabhat al-Nusra to Fatah al-Sham, the group has allegedly cut all ties from al-Qaeda. Even with this new brand however, the organization largely operates in the same capacity, and with the same objectives as al-Nusra.
In the video below Fatah al-Sham shock troops, known as Inghimasi, conduct a full front assault against a regime position. Inghimiasi means, “those who submerse in the enemy’s line with no intent to come back alive.” In short, these guys are suicide fighters that have been labeled as shock troops.
This label puts them in the mindset that they are the elite among their organization. It makes them more bold combat, and provides them with a lot more confidence then they should have. Pay close attention throughout the video however, and you will see that these guys are no more skilled than any of the other jihadist troops.
